i just can't stop posting.

i just can't stop posting.

wednesday night i went with angie to a midnight sale at mestad’s bridal. she found an awesome wedding dress for $50! it’s a little too small, but she is one of those people who can and will diet down to the appropriate size. she’ll probably need to lose 30 lbs. or so. no big deal for her. her dress is so cute, tho. it has a gauzey poofy skirt, and a fitted bodice with small embroidered flowers and sparklies all over.
so, two things.
one
there was a girl there who bought an antiqued rose wedding dress (not a stitch of white on it). it was so beautiful, it made me want to get married again so i could have something outrageously unique like that. as much as i liked my dress, if i were to do it again, i would go antique. all the BMs would wear champagne colored dresses, and i would have something like a rose colored dress. angie thought i was nuts, but i fell in love iwth it.
two
bridesmaid dresses were $5. garters were 50ยข. what did enterprising me do? bought two BM dresses and 5 garters and posted them up on ebay!! well, one dress is up now. the other is going up with my pink BM dress close to homecoming. i figure i can definitely make a profit.

farmers market!

farmers market!

st. joe has a farmers’ market every friday during the summer and fall. the last time i went there, i brought grandma and erin, if that’s any indication (erin is my cousin, and they’ve lived out of state for four years). anyway, what a cornucopia of wonderful stuff!
i bought a bouquet of flowers with sunflowers in it, dill, eggplants, a tomato, and yak meat! i’m looking forward to seeing what the heck yak meat tastes like. there was also a bread stand, but i resisted. it was tempting, but i did resist. there was this fruity, caramely looking croissant that i definitely could have taken home with me.
i bought an italian cookbook, hence the eggplant purchase. i want to make a mediterranean pizza with eggplant on it. i also want to try to make lamb chops or this lamb and tomato stew thing in the cookbook, but i have not been able to find lamb!! i really don’t know where to find lamb. i’ve looked in all the major grocery stores and the st. joe meat market. has anyone eaten lamb or seen it in a grocery store?

scary

scary

i’m scared of my upstairs neighbors. they fight all the time. they yell at each other, and tonight there was throwing right above me. HUGE thumps. and the girl was yelling “f-ing stop it!” hysterically. 4:30 a.m.,
what am i supposed to do? nate was gone, so there was no way i was going upstairs to yell at them to shut up. it lasted like 5 mins, then stopped. someone drove away in a car, rather furiously, out of the parking lot. calling the cops would have done no good. what do i do?
